Michael Lamb
Founder · Director · Teaching Artist
Nearly 30 years building
Connecticut’s performers.
Michael Lamb founded Performing Arts Programs in 1997 with a simple belief: every child deserves access to quality performing arts education in a nurturing, encouraging environment. What started as a single program has grown into a network of community partnerships across Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.
Through PAP, Michael has directed and produced youth productions at The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts. The Bushnell entrusted Michael to cast and prepare children for the National Touring Company of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Whistle Down the Wind. His students have gone on to perform on Broadway, appear on NBC television, and earn acceptance into college conservatory programs.
My daughter started with Performing Arts Programs through our local Parks and Rec. Then we moved into the Bushnell Youth Collective and finally started with the fall, winter, and summer intensive programs. She garnered the most extraordinary experiences with every interaction.
